An Anniversary Trip in the Pacific Northwest

Day 1 - The Start of Your Adventurous Anniversary Trip

Once you land in Seattle, WA and head west to the charming town of Port Angeles, located on the picturesque Olympic Peninsula. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Mountains. Take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront, visit art galleries, and savor delicious seafood at local restaurants.


Nestled within the majestic Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent is a true gem that showcases the natural beauty of Washington State. With its crystal-clear waters, surrounded by towering evergreen forests and rugged mountain peaks, Lake Crescent offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Visitors to Lake Crescent can indulge in a variety of outdoor activities.





Another stop to add to the list is Tongue Point View, a breathtaking overlook that offers panoramic vistas of the mighty Columbia River. Perched atop a cliff, visitors are treated to sweeping views of the river's expansive waters, the surrounding rugged coastline, and the distant hills that dot the landscape.


Day 2

Venture further west to the town of Forks, known for its connection to the famous Twilight book series. Explore the Twilight-themed attractions, such as the Forks Timber Museum and the Forks Community Hospital, which inspired the story's setting. Additionally, don't miss the chance to discover the surrounding natural wonders, including nearby beaches and waterfalls.



Experience the rugged beauty of the coastline at La Push, a small community located near the Quileute Indian Reservation. Marvel at the dramatic sea stacks and expansive sandy beaches. Take a walk along First Beach or embark on a sea kayaking adventure to fully appreciate the pristine coastal scenery.



After, trek to the Hoh National Forest, a verdant paradise located within the Olympic Peninsula, to immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of the forest. Hike through moss-draped old-growth forests, marvel at towering trees, and listen to the tranquil sounds of nature. The Hoh Rainforest, with its lush greenery and diverse wildlife, offers a truly magical experience.


Head back to the coastline and you'll find Ruby Beach, a hidden gem on the Olympic Peninsula. This secluded and picturesque beach is renowned for its sea stacks, tide pools, and driftwood-strewn shores. Capture breathtaking photographs, explore the tide pools teeming with marine life, and enjoy the peaceful serenity of this natural wonder.


Day 3 - 6

Aberdeen: Wrap up your Pacific Northwest journey in the charming city of Aberdeen. Known as the birthplace of rock legend Kurt Cobain, Aberdeen offers a glimpse into the region's rich musical history. Discover local art galleries, explore the Aberdeen Museum of History, and learn about the area's logging heritage.



End your Pacific Northwest adventure in the vibrant city of Seattle (and you may want to end with a few days in the city!). Indulge in the city's thriving food scene, visit iconic attractions like the Space Needle, and immerse yourself in the unique blend of urban and natural landscapes. Explore Pike Place Market, take a ferry ride to nearby islands, and soak in the lively atmosphere of this bustling metropolis. A unique activity to experience is Seattle’s Underground walking tour. Delve beneath the bustling streets of the city and uncover the secrets of Seattle's past. Led by knowledgeable guides, this tour takes you through a network of subterranean passageways that were once the main streets and storefronts of the city.
